Copyright & Image Use
- All images created by BearHeim Photo remain the intellectual property of the photographer.
- Clients receive a personal-use license to download, print, and share their images. Images may not be altered, edited, sold, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.
- We may use select images for portfolio, website, and promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.
Booking & Payment
- A session is considered booked once a deposit or full payment has been received.
- Session fees are non-refundable but may be applied toward a rescheduled session if notice is provided within our cancellation policy.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that life happens. If you need to reschedule your session, we ask for at least 5 days notice. With proper notice, your session can be moved to a new date.
- Rescheduling due to weather, illness, or unforeseen circumstances will always be accommodated.
- Late cancellations or missed sessions may result in forfeiture of the session fee.
Session Experience
Our sessions are designed to feel natural, relaxed, and true to you.
When you work with us, you will be guided every step of the way. We create a comfortable, easygoing environment so moments can unfold naturally, without pressure or over-posing.
Each session is approached with flexibility and intention, allowing space for both direction and spontaneity depending on the setting and session type.
By booking a session, you acknowledge that photography sessions may involve movement, outdoor environments, and participation at your own discretion. We encourage a willingness to be present, open, and engaged, as this allows us to capture your experience in a genuine and meaningful way.
Location & Travel
Sessions are typically held within the Maryville, Tennessee area and surrounding locations within about an hour’s drive.
If you have a location in mind beyond that, we would love to hear about it. Travel may be available upon request, with additional fees depending on distance.
6. Editing & Delivery
- All final images are edited in BearHeim’s signature style.
- Raw, unedited images are not delivered.
- Turnaround time for galleries will be communicated at the time of booking and may vary depending on season and session type.
7. Product Orders
Due to the custom nature of photography products, all print and product purchases are final once ordered.
8. Limitation of Liability
While every effort is made to provide a seamless experience, BearHeim Photo is not liable for circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, location restrictions, or unforeseen equipment issues.
In the unlikely event of a complete failure to deliver images, liability is limited to the amount paid for the session.
BearHeim Photo reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The most current version will always apply to new bookings.
